Brno English Centre was set up in 1995. Since then it has had the same owners, but has offered an ever-growing range of services.
We believe in traditional values such as professionalism, responsibility and honesty. This approach has not made us very large or rich but has given us numerous orders, slow but stable growth and customers who remain loyal and recommend us to their contacts and friends.
Having more than 1200 students, we are the largest English language school in Brno. Our customers welcome the possibility of receiving comprehensive language services, i.e. translations, interpreting and teaching of their managers or staff – all tailored to suit their particular needs.
When it comes to translations, we offer help from the smallest documents (such as marriage certificates) to extensive projects such as software localisation or EU-financed building projects. Apart from Czech translators, we employ nearly 20 native speakers of English from the UK, USA, Australia and South Africa, who guarantee not only the grammatical but also stylistic and formal correctness of our translations into English as well as working as consultants for translations from English to Czech (for slang expressions, etc.). Most of them also work as speakers/narrators in English versions of multi-media projects produced by us (see quality for details).
For years, we have been listed as one of the leading Czech translation companies in the Prague Business Journal a Book of Lists.
